Students were asked to complete a t-shirt survey, those who completed the survey received a shirt or will get one by Monday.

We are asking all campus to wear their "HAWKS STRONG" shirt on Tuesday.

HAWKS Family Association

We are having a virtual meeting on Monday, May 24 at 5:30 PM.

We invite all guardians to join the virtual meeting, we will share End of Year events, Next year things to know, and we'd like to hear from you.

Perfect opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding STAAR or events that will be happening in the next coming weeks.


STAAR

Students will be required to take their STAAR tests on campus, using a YES Prep Laptop. If the student currently does not have a YP Laptop, a device will be provided on day of testing. Students will receive school breakfast and lunch on STAAR Testing days.

If you currently have a student who is a virtual learner that will require transportation, you have the option to use our bus transportation.

Use the Bus Route listed below to help you locate the stop closest to your house and identify the pick up and drop off times.

Campus Cell Policy Update: Cell Phone Consequence Ladder (to start on 5/3)

If student is caught with their phone outside the permitted times, the following will happen:

  • 1st offense – demerit logged in HERO by teacher and student will be instructed to hand over the cell phone to teacher and the teacher will turn the phone into the front office staff.

  • 2nd offense – Student will receive a restorative reflection during lunch that will be logged in HERO by GLC, a phone call home, student will be instructed to hand over the cell phone to teacher and the teacher will turn the phone into the front office staff.

  • 3rd offense – Student will receive a restorative reflection during lunch that will be logged in HERO by GLC, a phone call home, student will be instructed to hand over the cell phone to teacher and the teacher will turn the phone into the front office staff.

  • 4th offense – Student can no longer bring cell phone on campus. 

Cell Phone Pick-up Expectation: Students will be able to pick up their phone in the front office from 3:40pm-3:45pm with a hall pass from their 4th period teacher.
